Cabangan is a town of the province of Zambales in the Philippines.
Understand
[edit]Cabangan was established by the Spanish in 1680. Originally called "Cabangaan", its name was shortened to its present form due to the inability of the American occupiers to pronounce the name correctly.
Get in
[edit]Cabangan lies along the Olongapo-Bugallon Road, the main thoroughfare in Zambales. It is accessible by bus from Metro Manila, with Victory Liner passing by the town as part of their infrequent daily trips to the provincial capital, Iba or to Santa Cruz. An alternative option is to switch to jeepneys or passenger vans in Olongapo.
Get around
[edit]Tricycles are the main mode of transportation between barangays.
