[edit]You can go and see where the Priory Monks used to bathe and go wild swimming at Abbots Pool. It is now a conservation lake with plenty of birds and a few small water falls.
The Priory has been converted into a private house but there are many tunnels under the house leading in many directions. It is believed that the church and Leigh Court are two of the places that are linked to the Priory by tunnels.
The tree opposite the George Inn is where King Charles II hid from Cromwell's army on his way to escape to France in 1651.
- 1 Leigh Court. A Grade II* listed mansion. The grounds and park are listed, Grade II, on the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens of special historic interest. King Charles II stayed here before going through some secret tunnels in the cellar of the Manor down to the Avon River. It is now used for offices and conferences.
- 2 Holy Trinity Church. A 15th-century Perpendicular Gothic building, restored and partially rebuilt in 1847–48 after a fire. It is a Grade II* listed building.
