[edit]- 1 Fort Abercrombie State Historic Site, ☏ +1 701 328-2666, [email protected]. 1/2 mile east of Abercrombie. Open mid-May to mid-September, Thursday-Monday, from 10AM to 5PM. This was the first United States military post in North Dakota. It was in use from 1857 to 1878.
