This town is regarded as one of the most popular vacation spots in Delta State, and Nigeria as a whole.

[edit]- 1 River Ethiope. A natural flowing spring water with the deepest inland waterway in Africa.
River Ethiope flows through seven local government areas in Delta State before it empties into the Atlantic Ocean.
- 2 Abraka Turf and Country Club, ☏ +234 7033648662. 9AM-5PM. The only horseback riding leisure club in Nigeria where international polo tournament takes place annually during Easter. Abraka Turf and Country Club is bordered by the River Ethiope and surrounded by a tropical rainforest.

[edit]- Ovwuvwe Festival. An annual festival celebrated for protection.
For seven days before the festival, young men go hunting, carry their animals and dance around on the day of Ovwuvwe Festival. Blessing is received from the females at Abraka Inland with the chewing of native white chalk (orhe).

- Abraka Market, Police Station Road. This market is big, easily accessible and you can get almost any food stuff, wears and home accessories. Be prepared to step into dirty water while going to the market during rainy season.

It doesn't cost much to enjoy crab or shrimp here in Abraka because of the abundance of seafood in this town.
