    Agbara is a town in South West Nigeria. Agbara is located in the popular Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State. Agbara is very close to Lagos State but is in Ogun State.

    Agbara is one of the most popular industrial layouts in Nigeria owing to the number of industrial companies situated in the area. In 2006, the town had a population of over 525,000. As an industrial layout, Agbara plays host to most of the industries in Ogun State, including multi-national organizations.

    There is no airport in Agbara or even in Ogun State, however, there are airports close by:

    By plane

    Since there is no airport in Agbara, the closest way to get in by plane is through the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos State and due to the proximity of Lagos to Agbara, the distance from the airport to Agbara is 45 km and a driving time of about 35 minutes. So once you get into Lagos via the airport, all you need to do is to take a cab (popularly called a taxi) to drop you off at Agbara.

    By bus

    This is another method of getting in, it is the most common way to get in and can be easily achieved by getting to the bus station of any state or locality you are in and asking for a bus traveling to Agbara in Ogun State, and you can be sure the bus can get you in.

    Get around

    There are popular buses that ply around Agbara and these buses are always available to get you around. Taxis are also available in some localities in Agbara. There is also the presence of motorbikes (popularly called Okada); although limited, they can still get you around to some areas in Agbara.

    Tourists to Agbara should ensure they visit Alagbara of Agbara's palace to chill. The Alagbara of Agbara's palace is the palace of the King (Oba) of Agbara, it is a beautiful palace with a lot of things to interest a tourist.

    For most locations in Agbara, you would most likely find coverage of the 2G/3G/4G mobile networks. Signal strength might diminish further away from the city center, and you might occasionally experience network outages for all or some of the mobile phone service providers in the remote areas of the city. Different networks tend to be more stable and reliable in different locations of the city at different times.
