Aglou is in Anti Atlas, about 10 minutes west of Tiznit.
Understand
[edit]Aglou was initially a fishing village but is being developed as a tourist destination. The beach is a few km and bus stops away, and called "Aglou Plage". The beach is a favorite getaway place for people from Tiznit to escape its sometimes insane heat since a public bus goes there.
When people talk about "Aglou", they usually refer to "Aglou Plage", since "Aglou Village" itself does not offer much.
Get in
[edit]By public bus from Tiznit or with CTM on the route from Agadir to Sidi Ifni - it's not an official stop so you will have to ask the bus driver to drop you of.
Get around
[edit]All of Aglou Plage can be walked within 15 minutes.

- Go on an excursion with a quad (from Aglou Village, directly on the main road towards Aglou Plage)

Eat
[edit]There are a few restaurants at the beach and one at the entrance of the village.
Sleep
[edit]Several small hotels are available, most houses are available for short term rentals and locals also rent out apartments - ask in cafes or restaurants for the latter two.
There is also a pretty large camping ground at the entrance of the village.
