Aktobe (Kazakh: Aqtöbe) is a city in Kazakhstan's Central Highlands.

Aktobe is the fourth-largest city in Kazakhstan with a population of around 520,000. It serves as the administrative center of Aktobe Region and a major transport hub connecting western Kazakhstan to the rest of the country. The city has grown rapidly thanks to oil and gas industries in the surrounding region.
