Amichi is a town in Nnewi South Local Government Area in Anambra State, Nigeria.

[edit]Amichi is a historical site, it is a place where the Nigeria-Biafra War peace talks was made in 1970 when the war ended. It was part of the eastern protectorate during the colonisation of Nigeria.
The community is well-regarded for its substantial two-story residential buildings and community-led development efforts. It hosts large-scale trading and commerce and farming, particularly yam cultivation.

[edit]Amichi experiences tropical wet and dry climate. It is characterized by high temperatures of about 29°C (84°F). The climate is humid with significant rainfall, mostly between March and October. Temperatures peak in March and reach lows in August.
