Amichi is a town in Nnewi South Local Government Area in Anambra State, Nigeria.

Amichi is a historical site, it is a place where the Nigeria-Biafra War peace talks was made in 1970 when the war ended. It was part of the eastern protectorate during the colonisation of Nigeria.

The community is well-regarded for its substantial two-story residential buildings and community-led development efforts. It hosts large-scale trading and commerce and farming, particularly yam cultivation.

Amichi experiences tropical wet and dry climate. It is characterized by high temperatures of about 29°C (84°F). The climate is humid with significant rainfall, mostly between March and October. Temperatures peak in March and reach lows in August.

The community celebrates the "Ikpo Ji" (New Yam Festival), a significant cultural event where residents bring their harvest to honor their traditions. By tradition, no native is allowed to eat or sell new yam until the festival is over.

Amichi also hosts the College of Nursing Sciences and community development summits for youth empowerment.
