Argalasti, Kalamos, Paou are in South Pelion. Since these villages are close to each other, they are considered as a single travel destination

Argalasti is an important tourist (and local commercial) center of the region, and a stopover for those heading to the nearby beaches of the Pagasitic Gulf ( Horto , Kalamos, Lefokastro) or the open Aegean Sea (Potistika, Melani, Paltsi). T

An excellent example of local architecture from the early twentieth century is the bell tower of the Church of the Holy Apostles. It is near the central square and was built in 1886, while its bell tower in 1913.

Embedded in the walls of many structures are parts of ancient and medieval buildings, which adds to the atmosphere of the village.
