Get in
[edit]This town is easily accessible by Interstate 95 from both north and southbound lanes. Just take exit 1 or 2 in Rhode Island to enter the town. It is only a half hour from T.F Green Airport in Warwick, Rhode Island. If you are arriving at T.F Green, take Interstate 95, South to exit 2.
Get around
[edit]If you are visiting this area you will need to rent a car as most places to go are far from walking distance from each other. See
[edit]If you are looking for shows, there isn't much to see, but if you are looking to see fall foliage or beautiful rivers and ponds this is a good place to go. Go to Crandall Park, on route 3, and sit down and enjoy the scenery. Take a ride down the road to Misquamicut Beach and enjoy some fun in the sun.
Do
[edit]They are many rivers and ponds that you can experience great fishing, kayaking, and canoeing. Fish the Chapman Pond, for pike and bass, or kayak down the Pawtucket River or Ashaway River. To find a guide for where to find more of these rivers go to the chamber of commerce.
Eat

Sleep
[edit]They are not many, if any places to stay in town, but if you visit its neighboring town of Westerly, there are many beachfront hotels to stay that are less than 15 minutes from Ashaway. Included in these hotels is the Andrea,a beachfront hotel with a great atmosphere and great bar.
