Balzers is a municipality in Liechtenstein.

Balzers is the southernmost municipality of Liechtenstein with a population of 4,600 people.

From Switzerland, Balzers can be reached by bus from Sargans in about 15 min. Höfle is a nice bus stop to start your walk from.

The closest train station is across the (open) border in the Swiss village of Trübbach just across the Rhine.

• 47.06539.50232 Jubiläumskirche (Pfarrkirche St. Nikolaus). A Romanesque Revival church built in 1908-1912 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the reign of prince Johann II. The interior is rather plain, but the exterior is beautiful.
