Bełchatów is a town in the Łódź Voivodship of Poland. It's famous for its coal mines and the largest coal fuelled thermal power plant in Europe.

[edit | edit source]Probably the easiest way to get into Bełchatów from Łódź is to head south on the international E75 highway, then around Piotrków Trybunalski merge westward onto the E67 as if you were heading toward Wrocław.
Of course, if you're heading toward Bełchatów from Wrocław simply follow the E67 until you arrive in Bełchatów.
