Benisheikh (also spelled Beni Sheik or Beni Sheikh) is a small town in Kaga Local Government Area of Borno State, in northeastern Nigeria. It lies along the important Maiduguri–Damaturu highway and serves as a key transit point between Borno and Yobe States.

Although modest in size, Benisheikh is well known for its strategic location and its role as a security and transportation checkpoint in the region.

Benisheikh sits about 70 km west of Maiduguri, Borno State's capital. The town faced major issues from the Boko Haram conflict, which hurt daily life, business, and travel. Security has gotten better lately, but the area is still delicate.Most people are Kanuri, and Hausa is commonly spoken. Islam is the primary religion, and Kanuri traditions shape everyday life.

There is no airport in Benisheikh. The nearest airport is in Maiduguri International Airport MIU  ^IATA. From there, road transport is required.
