- a nice bus trip is a long the coast from Bislig to Tandag or Bislig to Mati
- Philtranco Bus Lines has one bus a day from Manila via Surigao and Tacloban.
- Minivans to/from Davao and Butuan.

[edit]- 1 Enchanted River Hianatuan, ☏ +63 917 257 6279. A deep spring river of rather mesmerizing shades of blue and home to numerous species of fish, popularized in a poem called Rio Encantado. Daily feeding by conservationists in the afternoon but swimming disallowed as of 2017.
- 2 Tinuy-an Falls. 55 meters high. 18 km from town, a 30-minute tricycle ride.
- 3 Baywalk Bislig. Promenade/photo-op along bay.
