Borth is a village of 1,400 people (2011) in Ceredigion. It lies on the coast 7 miles north of Aberystwyth. The village is the quintessential British seaside resort, with mixed sand and stony beach, sea wall, pubs and shops selling plastic buckets and spades.

[edit]The small B4353 goes through the village and connects to the A487 between Aberystwyth and Machynlleth.
By bus
[edit]There is an hourly bus service between Aberystwyth and Ynyslas via Borth on Monday-Saturday (no Sunday service)

A museum of local railway artefacts, in the restored waiting room and booking office of Borth railway station. The museum is run by volunteers, and featured in the bilingual crime drama Hinterland/Y Gwyll. Free.
