    Bragança Paulista is a city in the state of São Paulo. It's known for its sausages and Lake Taboão.

    Bragança Paulista belongs to the Bragança region, close to the water circuit. It's located at an altitude of 817 meters and has about 170,000 inhabitants (2021).

    From São Paulo there are several daily departures by intercity bus. The departures are from the Tietê bus station and cost R$36 (Dec 2021). The bus company is called Viação Bragança. The ride takes about 1:30 hr.

    There are also Blablacar rides from São Paulo for around R$20 (Dec 2021).

    A walking tour of Lake Taboão is an excellent option. Take the opportunity to drink coconut water at a kiosk or bar in the region. On Sunday mornings, vehicle traffic is banned, facilitating the practice of sports.

    Many trails are available in the Bragança Paulista region. Take a walking tour of the 1 Leite Sol hill or simply take a walk around 2 Taboão lake. Take advantage of the surrounding stores to have ice cream or a delicious frozen fruit juice.
