    Brežice is old medieval town in the Posavje of Southeastern Slovenia.

    • 3 Church of St. Lovrenca (Cerkev sv. Lovrenca). The church was built in 1782 in the Romanesque style. According to the plans, it should reach right to the edge of the road, but because money ran out, it was shortened and now has the shape of a Greek cross.
