[edit]- Sarah Lawrence College, 1 Mead Way. This college was founded in 1926 on a real estate millionaire's estate and contains a number of picturesque buildings that date back as far as 1917.
A portion of the Bronx River Pathway is in Bronxville. It is a strip park on either side of the Bronx River, the west side of this portion of which is in Yonkers. It is very pleasant, except that the Bronx River Parkway is just beyond the Yonkers side of the park. Walk or bike through the park, or some people fish the river, which is a running brook in this area.
