Understand
[edit]Brookfield is an edge city between Milwaukee and Waukesha.
The Town of Brookfield are the portions of Brookfield that have not been annexed to the City of Brookfield. While most attractions are in the city itself, there are shopping, sleeping, and eating options in the town.
The 1949 musical movie It's a Great Feeling ends with the character played by Doris Day returning to her hometown of Goerke's Corners, that is, the Town of Brookfield.
