Understand
[edit]Ca Na is a sleepy fishing village producing fish sauce and reputedly some of the best salt in Vietnam. Several hotels and resorts serving domestic tourism have popped up on the beach along Hwy 1A a kilometre out of town.

[edit]Buses going between Nha Trang and Mui Ne can let you out or pick you up in the hotel/resort area.

[edit]The town itself is not very big and is walkable.

[edit]There is a stretch of hotels and motels along Hwy 1A, including one run by the Mai Linh taxi and transport company you see all over Vietnam.
- Ca Na Hotel, km1589 Hwy 1A, ☏ +84 683 760922. Hotel right on the beach with a nice sandy stretch (although covered in either pork bones or coral shells) with cable TV, en suite baths and Wi-Fi. On-site restaurant is fairly expensive given budget accommodation with dishes in the 60,000-150,000 dong range. 200,000-250,000 dong for beachside bungalows or inland triples.
- Pandaran Guesthouse & Hotel, km1589 Hwy 1A. Cute and clean guesthouse with a hotel addition right on the water. Owner speaks some English and is generally friendly and helpful. Rooms have TV, en suite baths with hot water, and Internet (Wi-Fi in the guesthouse and cafe portion). There is a cafe on-site serving Vietnamese food and some Chinese food with great views of the beach. Sandy portions of the beach can be reached near the nearby Ca Na Hotel. Single room: 200,000 dong.
