Cape Jervis is a town in South Australia, and a gateway point to Kangaroo Island, Australia's third largest island excluding the mainland.
Get in
[edit]SeaLink operates coach services from Adelaide once daily to connect with the ferry to Kangaroo Island. This cannot be booked as a standalone coach service. Another daily coach service is run by LinkSA from Adelaide, which can be booked as a standalone coach service, but connections with the ferry are not guaranteed; if the coach is late, you're on your own.
Rental car facilities are available in Victor Harbor and in Lonsdale. The harbor and wharf is around 1 km (0.62 mi) from the town. There are no car rental facilities in Cape Jervis itself.
Get around
[edit]If you were to only get around the inner areas of the town's CBD, then it's best to walk, but otherwise take the car.
