[edit]In the wide open areas of western ND, population density is very low, and Carson is no exception. Though it is the county seat. This area is more normally visited by hunters and fishers rather than sightseers.

By plane
[edit]Elgin Municipal Airport is 14 miles to the west of Carson near the junction of highways 49 and 21.
