[edit]The main transport hubs for Negros are Bacolod, about 120 km north of Cauayan on the same coast, and Dumaguete, further away on the island's east coast. Both have busy airports with connections to Manila and other Philippine cities, but neither have international flights. Both also have ports and ferries. From either, one can reach Cauayan by bus.
The nearest airport with international flights is Iloilo, a short ferry ride from Bacolod.
Sipalay is closer to Cauayan than any of those and now has flights from Mactan-Cebu International Airport.
