Daallo Mountain is a prime example of an unspoiled wilderness, a dense forest on a limestone and gypsum escarpment near to the base of Mount Shimbiris, the tallest peak of SSC-Khatumo. The park has perhaps the richest biodiversity of the Somali region.
Get in
[edit]The park is roughly an hour north by road from Erigavo. There is virtually zero tourist infrastructure. You can arrange a tour from Las Anod or Hargeisa.
