Darazo is a Local Government Area located in Bauchi State, Nigeria, with its administrative center in the town of Darazo. It spans an area of 3,015 square kilometers and had a population of around 251,597 according to the 2006 census. The area is primarily inhabited by the Fulani and Karai-karai ethnic groups1.
