[edit]Get in
[edit]The only way to get into Dargo is by car. If you're coming from an eastern direction (Bairnsdale, Lakes Entrance, Orbost) Dargo can be accessed using the C601 route which forks off at Bairnsdale from the A1 route. From the western direction (Melbourne, Traralgon, Sale) leave the A1 route in Stratford, and follow the C494 route until Stockdale Road, and then drive down Stockdale Road to the end, where it forks off into two roads. Follow Beverleys Road, which ends on the C601 route. From there, you can just go up the C601 route until you reach Dargo. The road north of Dargo is closed in winter.
