    Dounan (斗南鎮) is a township that in Yunlin County, Taiwan.

    The original name of Dounan is Taliwu (他里霧), a name taken from one of the branches of an aboriginal tribe. The development of Taliwu had started since the Ming Dynasty, when Koxinga came to Taiwan.

    The township is accessible by train through the following TRA stations:

    • 1 Former Dounan Police Precinct Building (斗南分局舊辦公廳舍), No. 170, Zhongshan Road, +88655978391. An historic building that once served as the police headquarters for the area. There is not much to see or do inside, but the building is worth stopping by for a few photos.

    • 4 Yunlin Environmental Education Pavilion (雲林環境教育館), Nanchang Road, +88655962507. W Th Sa Su 10:00-18:00. As the name suggests, it's a small indoor educational exhibit of some of the flora and fauna of the surrounding area. Most of the material is provided in Chinese only.
