Eastern Cambodia is a region of Cambodia and includes the following provinces: Kratie to the east of the Mekong, Mondulkiri (Mundulkiri), Rattanakiri (Ratanakiri) and Stoeng Treng (Stung Treng) to the east of the Mekong.

- 2 Chlong - most commonly refers to Chhloung, a district and town in Cambodia's Kratie Province, known for its rural Mekong riverside life.
- 3 Kratie - is the capital of Kratié Province and lies on the banks of the Mekong River.
- 4 Sen Monorom - is the capital of Mondulkiri Province and is famous as a gateway to natural wonders like Bousra Waterfall, its cooler climate, and as a hub for ethical elephant sanctuaries.
- 5 Stung Treng - is the capital of Stung Treng Province and on the Sesan River near its confluence with the Mekong River. It is famous for its rich biodiversity, stunning Mekong River landscapes, and rare Irrawaddy dolphins.

- 1 Virachey National Park - is one of the largest protected areas in Cambodia, stretching for 3,325 km2 (1,284 sq mi) established in 1993.
- 2 Lake Yeak Laom - is a volcanic crater lake and a tourist destination in the commune of Yeak Laom, Banlung Municipality, Ratanakiri Province. Around 700,000 years ago, a volcanic eruption resulted in the creation of the lake in Ratanakiri's mountain region. The shore of Yeak Laom Lake is circular having 800 m (2,600 ft) in diameter and about 48 m (157 ft) deep.
