    El Sauzal is a town with 9,000 inhabitants (2013) on the northwestern coast of Tenerife.

    The layout of the Autopista del Norte divides El Sauzal into two parts:

    • Ravelo, between the highway and the central summit of the island; and
    • El Casco, between the highway and the sea.

    The municipality is accessed mainly by the Autopista del Norte TF-5 .

    Regular bus transportation services —guagua— are covered by the company Transportes Interurbanos de Tenerife, SAU TITSA, through the following lines:

Oak barrels and modern maceration systems coexist in the winery, creating a special character and flavour of the Monje red, white, and rosé wines, which makes them popular in Canarian cuisine. Wine tasting is part of a visit.
