Understand

[edit]

Fairfield county is one of the highest earning regions of the entire united states, because of this, the lower half of the region is sometimes refered to as the "Gold Coast" by locals. Many residents are commuters to New York City and live in connecticut because of the lower population density. However, despite being home to some of the highest earners in the United States, some towns, such as Stratford (Connecticut) or Bridgeport (Connecticut) are known to have disproportionately high crime rates for the region. The large income gap between towns is sometimes a source of local tension.

Talk

[edit]

English is the primary language of the region with some Spanish presence. People from this area tend to not heavily pronounce their "t"s in words and instead make a softer, almost "ck" sound. Besides that a pretty neutral accent is adopted by most people from this region. Stay away from political topics or topics about money with locals.

This region travel guide to Fairfield County is an outline and may need more content. It has a template, but there is not enough information present. If there are Cities and Other destinations listed, they may not all be at usable status or there may not be a valid regional structure and a "Get in" section describing all of the typical ways to get here. Please plunge forward and help it grow!
