[edit]Farmington is located just east of Victor and several miles north of Canandaigua. It's centered on the intersection of State Routes 96 (connecting to Victor) and 332 (connecting to Canandaigua). 332 also connects to the New York State Thruway which runs east-west north of Route 96.

[edit]Truthfully, there's not a whole lot to do in Farmington; residents head to Canandaigua or even Rochester for most activities. But Farmington does have one unique attraction... live thoroughbred racing!
- 1 Finger Lakes Gaming and Racetrack, 5857 Rt 96 (Thruway exit 44 to Rt 332 south to Rt 96 east), ☏ +1 585 924-3232. 9AM-4AM. It's one of the few facilities in the state still offering live horse racing, but even so, the addition of video slot machines was necessary to keep it afloat. The combination of thoroughbreds and video poker has proven a successful one, attracting gamblers from throughout the Finger Lakes region.

A vast but well-organized antiques superstore, with almost a thousand vendors filling thirty thousand square feet (2800 m²). It's no wonder they claim to be the largest antiques mall in the state.

Surprisingly elegant for rural Ontario County, but the food isn't too avant-garde. Live music every night; mostly jazz on the weekend, but a variety of styles during the week. $10-$23.
