Do
[edit]There are plenty of things to do. Almost every month the small city's town square has a type of celebration, like July Jam in July, which usually lasts about a week, or maybe the Taste of Fayette which is held in May.
- Alchemy.
- 1 Fun Spot America Atlanta, 1675 GA-85 N. Hours vary; see website. Typically noon-8PM, summer: daily; winter: Sa-Su, plus weekdays during holiday periods. A modestly-sized but excellent independent amusement park. Lots of rides and activities for both kids and adults, including four huge outdoor go kart tracks, a decent roller coaster and other rides, miniature golf, laser tag, and arcade games, not to mention bumper boats that are nice for cooling off a bit in the hot Georgia summer. With hardly any lines, it's a much better way to fill your day with rides than a super-crowded mainstream theme park. Day pass $29.95/person (save 10% online); kids under 54 inches get a $5 card for in-park spending.

[edit]There are many places to sleep in Fayetteville, most easily to spot a Hampton Inn and a Holiday Express inn, both should be quite comfortable.
