Understand
[edit]Five Forks was originally named for the major five-fork intersection in the center of town. The roads have been altered to create a series of three successive intersections. Five Forks is primarily a residential suburb of Greenville. All addresses are based on the closest post office in Simpsonville, but Five Forks is well outside the city limits of Simpsonville. The two elementary schools in Five Forks, Bells Crossing and Monarch, consistently rank as the best elementary schools in the state.
Get in
[edit]Five Forks is named after the five primary roads that enter the town. From the West, Woodruff Road connects to Greenville. To the east, Bennet's Bridge Road passes through Sugar Tit and Reidville on the way to Spartanburg. To the south, Adams Mill Road connects to Simpsonville. Scuffletown Road also heads southward to the neighborhoods west of Simpsonville and Fountain Inn.
