    Gapado (가파도, 加波島) is an island south of Jeju island and north of Marado Island. It is accessible by ferry.

    Path on the island

    Ferries leave from Unjin marina on Jeju. This is 30 minutes by bus from Moseulpo in the south-west of Jeju island. There are 6 return services per day. The last departure from Gapado is at 16:10. Check this page for current times and prices. You will need a Korean ID or a passport to take the ferry.

    The island is situated in a marine park, the fee for which is included in your ferry ticket.

    The island has a coastline of just over 4 kilometres. Bicycles can be rented near the ferry dock.

    There is a lookout point on the highest part of the island (not that high, easy walk), which is just off the main road heading south from the port, near the centre of the island.

    The island is part of the Jeju Olle trail, hosting route 10-1. This route has an S shape that cuts through the middle of the island as well as the coasts. As it ends on the opposite side of the island, walkers will have to return to the ferry port.
