[edit]- 1 Great Bukovec Dam. Very beautiful lake surrounded by forests. Swimming is prohibited there because the lake serves as a drinking water reserve for the city of Košice .
- 2 Small Bukovec Dam. Water sports and swimming are allowed. There is a beach with a few buffets.
- 3 Herliansky gejzír (Herľany geyser), ☏ +421 55 696 41 22. The geyser eruptions have an interval of 34 to 36 hours and last approximately 25 minutes. The geyser appeared in 1870 during a drilling intended to supply thermal baths which had existed since the 18th century.
- 4 Convent of the Premonstratensians.
- 5 Jasov Cave. in season and from 10 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.. Cave listed as a UNESCO natural heritage site.
- 6 Turňa nad Bodvou castle ruins.
- 7 Slanec Castle (Access is via a path that goes up from the back of the hill. At the park level, go up towards the castle hill and turn left at the last houses. follow the path that goes around initially the hill and then climbs towards the castle.), ☏ +421 949 416768 (mobile phone). The castle dates back to the 1970s of the 13th century. It was abandoned at the end of the 17th century for more than 130 years when in 1815, the tower was rebuilt and became a family museum until 1937. Completely in ruins since the Second World War, the tower was covered with a roof in 2013. € 2.

- 9 Slanec Park. Park with some beautiful trees and tourist information board.
- 10 Bunkers in Slanec (Scattered in the forests and hills south of Slanec.). The bunkers in the area are part of a Czechoslovak army line of defense built before World War II against the possibility of Hungarian aggression.

[edit]- 1 Slanské vrchy.
- 2 Skipark Erika. 5 ski slopes, 1 chairlift, ski rental, ski school. A free shuttle takes skiers from the parking lot to the foot of the chairlift.
- 3 Hike from Kojšovská hoľa to Košice-Čermeľ. A beautiful day hike. Departure is from Zlatá Idka, accessible by bus from the bus station. 33.5 km hike, elevation gain uphill 1036 m , downhill 1471 m , duration around 9 hours.
- 4 Izra. A small lake although it is the largest natural lake in Slovakia that is not of glacial origin. Buffet. It is possible to access it on foot by following the red markers.
- 5 Folkmarská rock (Folkmarská skala) (Follow yellow markings). Part of the educational trail Folkmarská and Murovaná skala, which starts in the village of Kojšov and ends in the village of Veľký Folkmár. Not far from are the Turniská and Turniská klenba, sought after by tourists.
