H.D.Kote or Heggadadevana kote is a hilly town in Mysuru district of Karnataka province in India.

[edit]The area in and around H.D.Kote is full of small hills and lakes. The population is very small. There are four reservoirs.

- Tribal villages. Tribal villages like Saragur are very scenic. A lot of water bodies like rivers and canals in this area.
- Gaddige Kenddganeshwara Temple, Bhogadi Road (20 km). Riverside temple with cool and spacious courtyard to relax. Free lunch with sweets is served from 11AM.
- Varada Raja Swamy Temple (half a km from bus station).
- Mahadeshwara Temple (1.6 km from bus station).
- Jamia Masjidh (half a kilometer from bus station).

[edit]- Trekking. There are plenty of opportunities for trekking as the small streets are empty and villages very pretty.
