As with anywhere else in North Korea, getting into the city will be only possible as part of an official organised tour. Apparently some tours do include Hamhung on their itinerary.

  • Hamhung Water Park (On the bank of the River Songchon). Apparently covering tens of thousands of square meters, this water park comes equipped with several slides, indoor swimming pool and indoor wading pool. Price unknown.
