Get in
[edit]By plane
[edit]Atlantic City International Airport (ACY IATA) is about 20 mi (32 km) to the east of Hammonton along the Atlantic City Expressway. Car rentals are available in the airport, as well as taxi service and passenger vans for larger groups. Bus service via NJTransit is also available with a connection through the Pleasantville Bus Terminal. Atlantic City International Airport is a smaller airport and only serviced by one airline: Spirit[dead link]. ACY, however, is poorly connected to major airports, Spirit flights are generally bound for other tourist destinations in Florida and the Caribbean as well as a "casino hopper" to Las Vegas. For many travelers, it will make sense to fly into Philadelphia and drive the 35 minutes it takes to reach Hammonton or take the train.
Philadelphia International Airport (PHL IATA) is about 60 mi (97 km) to the west of Atlantic City. It is significantly larger than Atlantic City International and has more flights.
By train
[edit]New Jersey Transit offers train service from Philadelphia's 30th Street Station to Hammonton, with several stops in New Jersey, with the last stop being in Atlantic City.
