[edit]- 1 Sea View Forest Museum (海の見える杜美術館 Umi-Mori Art Museum), 10701 Ono Kamegaoka. Tu-Su 10:00-17:00 (entry until 16:30). The majority of the collection consists of Japanese art from the Middle Ages to the modern era. Representative holdings include modern Japanese paintings from Kyoto, mainly by Takeuchi Seiho. The foundation of the collection is several thousand pieces of powdered wood, sketches, photographs, etc. In the field of ukiyo-e, the museum excels in Utagawa Hiroshige's flower and bird prints, and has a large collection of Chinese prints that influenced ukiyo-e. The museum also has a collection of perfume bottles from ancient times to the present. There are about 800 cherry trees of over 10 different varieties along the promenade on the premises.
