    Hurstbridge is sometimes considered a suburb of Melbourne, others consider it more of a country town. It's known for its annual Wattle Festival happening in August or September, and its large park with walking trails.

    Hurstbridge is easily accessible by train from Melbourne. Simply take a Hurstbridge train from any station in the Central Business District in Melbourne, services are every 20 minutes during peak, and 40 minutes off-peak. Myki cards are valid for this journey.
