    Idoani is a rural area in South West Nigeria. It is a quiet village under the Ose local government in Ondo State. The people's language is a mixture of Yoruba and Bini.

    The origin dates back to the 15th century during the traditional state of Idoani Confederacy, when the Oba Ozolua of then Benin Empire fathered the Alani of Idoani, subsequently making it a vassal state and Idoani as the seat of the state.

    There is no airport in Idoani, but the closest airport is situated in Akure. If you are planning to visit the town, you can take a flight from Lagos or Abuja to alight in Akure and continue the journey with a hired or shared taxi.

    By car

    Car-hire companies offer daily services from almost the major cities (Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja, etc.) around the country. They are also available at major parks.

    You can also board a bus from Akure to Idoani. It is advisable to negotiate the fare with the driver before embarking on the journey to avoid unnecessary disagreement.

    The modes of transiting within the town is by motorcycles and Tricyle (commonly known as Keke Napep). If travelling around Idoani, be sure to be in company of a guide who is familiar with the town routes.
