The Interstate is a network of controlled-access highways that forms part of the National Highway System in the United States. The following have their own Wikivoyage articles:

  • Interstate 5 — the westernmost north-south Interstate going from San Ysidro, California (south of San Diego) to Blaine, Washington. It replaces the old U.S. Highway 99.
  • Interstate 10 — the southernmost east-west Interstate going from Santa Monica, California to Jacksonville, Florida. It replaces or bypasses U.S. Highway 90 between San Antonio Texas and Jacksonville Florida, and the old U.S. Highways 80 and 60 between San Antonio and Los Angeles California.
  • Interstate 80 — often cited as the most popular Interstate, it goes from San Francisco, California to Teaneck, New Jersey in the New York Metropolitan Area.
  • Interstate 90 — the northernmost and longest Interstate going from Seattle, Washington to Boston, Massachusetts
