[edit]Järvsö is reachable by train or bus. Closest regional airport is Härjedalen Sveg Airport[dead link] (EVG IATA) which has two daily connections with Stockholm. Train service operated by national operator SJ who have several daily departures from Stockholm and local services operated by X-trafik between Gävle and Ljusdal via Järvsö.

[edit]- Järvsöbacken, Rödmyravägen 17. Järvsö is one of the southernmost skiing destinations in Sweden. There are 20 slopes with 8 lifts.
- Harsagården is a cross-country skiing area southeast of the town with beautiful scenery, with many ski tracks on and around the nearby lake (Harsasjön) if you're visiting during the winter. Taxis could be booked via X-Trafik, the regional public transport operator, but the easiest way is by car. It's around a 20-minute drive from the city centre. Skis can be rented, and prices for a day pass to the tracks are around 130 kr.
