[edit]Jhunjhunu is a city in the state of Rajasthan, India and the administrative headquarters of Jhunjhunu District. It is 180 km away from Jaipur, 220 km from Bikaner and 240 km from Delhi. The city is famous for the frescos on its grand havelis. Khetri Mahal, known as the Wind Palace, inspired Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh of Jaipur; he was so intimidated by this unique structure that he built the grand and historical Hawa Mahal in 1799 in Jhunjhunu. The Rani Sati Temple is also in Jhunjhunu.

[edit]Jhunjhunu specialities are lahsun ki kachori, a type of very Kachori, and Dal baatti churma. Both are also popular souvenirs.
- Chaat - Jhunjhunu is a heaven for any Chaat lover. Chaat can be of various types but there is one thing common among them all is that they are spicy and you will find crowd outside virtually every chaat stall. You'll find quality Bhallas and Panipuri Samosa and Kachori are found at every sweet shop that flood the city. Some typical chaat items are Aloo Tikki (made by roasting mess made out of boiled potatoes), paneer tikka (cubes of cottage cheese baked in a tandoor with spices), pani puri or golguppa (small round hollow shells filled with a potato-based filling and a spicy sweet blend of sauces), mangores, Samosaes, Chachori, etc. If you want to savour the typical Jhunjhunu breakfast have a bite of Jalebies.
- Sweets - There are quite a few good sweets shops. The best for the famous Jalebi of Jhunjhunu.
