Understand
[edit]Kédougou is the largest city in Southeastern Senegal, which boasts a lush of hills, plenty of rain and rugged beauty that is distinct from the rest of Senegal. With a culture that often seems more Guinean that Senegalese, Kedougou would be a welcome stop for Senegalese travelers.
Formerly a part of the immense Region of Tambacounda, Kedougou became a capital in 2008.
The most spoken language is Pulaar.
