KPop Demon Hunters is a Netflix animated show, and many of its scenes were inspired by real places in Seoul. The places have attracted global visitors due to the show's international popularity. These places are called Kedeheon Palgyoeng (케데헌 8경) in Korean, presumably named after Gwandong Palgyeong.

Before you visit the places, it is recommended that you watch the show. It can help you relive the scenes in the movie and your emotions when you really visit the filming locations. Since you can visit all the places in one or two days, it is recommended to buy a 1 or 2-day Climate Card pass .

Get around

All the locations are in Seoul, and you can easily visit them by subway or bus. Taking the subway is recommended, because traffic in Seoul is very heavy. If you need a taxi, it is recommended to use local taxi hailing apps, such as Kakao T.

  • 37.58122126.981462 Bukchon Hanok Village (북촌한옥마을) (get off at Exit 2 of Anguk Station and walk along the road for about 10 minutes to get there). 10:00-17:00. Rumi and Jinu sing a song together, leaping across roofs on Korean traditional houses (hanok). You will see crowds of foreign and domestic visitors in this place. The Saja Boys, the show's villain attracts pedestrians in this place by singing their song titled Soda Pop. It is one of the most visited places by foreign visitors in Korea. You can see lots of cosmetic shops, clothing shops, and street food vendors along the main road. Although it is famous as a shopping destination, it is also a place of history.
