Kaibab Plateau is in a plateau near the Grand Canyon's North Rim. This includes the small community of Jacob Lake, at the junction of US Route 89A and Arizona 67.

[edit]The Kaibab Plateau is an island surrounded by lower elevations. The plateau, with elevation up to 9,215 feet (2,800 m) is bordered on the south by the Grand Canyon, on the east and the west by tributary canyons of the Colorado River, and on the north by tiers of uplifted cliffs.

Get in
[edit]From the east, this area can be reached by taking the US Route 89A headed north then west from Bitter Springs, at the junction of US 89 and US 89A. From the northwest, this can be reached along US 89A headed southeast from Kanab and Fredonia.
