Allegiant Air runs flights from Orlando/Sanford, Punta Gorda (FL), and St. Petersburg/Clearwater, and some seasonal destinations. American Eagle flies from Philadelphia, and JetBlue flies from Fort Lauderdale, and Orlando.
- Newark Liberty International Airport, Newark, New Jersey, John F. Kennedy International Airport, and LaGuardia Airport: The three major international airports in the New York City area offer service to just about anywhere. Westchester-based taxi and livery cars offer regular service to and from the three internationals from most areas of the county. New York City yellow cabs will take to you Westchester in a pinch, but the fares can be exorbitant. If staying in Westchester, ask if your hotel offers shuttle service.

Bedford is also home to part of the reservoir system which provides New York city its drinking water. Regulated fishing and ice fishing can be found there and in nearby lakes and reservoirs.
A Metro North Train station can be found on the North end of the hamlet, offering easy access to Manhattan, as well as nearby Mount Kisco and Pleasantville. Mount Kisco features numerous restaurants and a New Line Cinema, while Pleasantville offers a similar quaint town experience to that of Katonah, with the notable addition of the Jacob Burns film center, offering independent and foreign films to the surrounding area.
