    Kisvárda is a small town in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County. in north-eastern Hungary. Kisvárda also attracts tourists to its thermal springs, and the ruins of a medieval castle.

    Kisvárda is on the electric train line between Budapest and Moscow, it is near Nyíregyháza and Záhony by train.

    It is the third-largest settlement in the region after Nyíregyháza and Mátészalka.

    • Greek Catholic Church - Built in 1877 with arched Gothic windows and baroque decoration above the door.

    • Roman Catholic Church - The church was replaced by a church from the time of St. Ladislaus, part of which was later demolished by the troops of István Bocskai, which was then rebuilt by Kata Várday, but was mostly destroyed during the fire of 1670, only the sanctuary remained. Its stone tower was built in 1786, with Gothic supporting pillars and arched windows at the back, and the front and interior are also in Baroque style.
