
Kondapalli is a village 16 km (9.9 mi) west of Vijayawada in central Andhra Pradesh. The village is known for making toys with light-weight wood sourced from the hill forest.

[edit]- 1 Kondapalli Fort (Kondapalli Kila). Built on a hill, this fort features an impressive three-storeyed rock tower and was witness to the glory of many dynasties. This fort was built by King Krishna Deva Raya. It served as a business centre. The fort was also used as a military training base by the British rulers.
- Kondapalli Reserve Forest. Spread over an area of 30,000 acres (12,000 hectares), the forest is home to several carnivores like leopards, wild dogs, and a few others like, jackals, wolves and civet cats. The herbivores in the forest include, wild boars, sambar deer, chital, barking deer, rhesus monkey and four-horned antelopes.
